Lake Front reporter Denise Coronel attended the Letras en la Frontera 2016 event at OLLU where authors and poets read their work to the OLLU community.
When these two sweet girls interviewed me for Our Lady of the Lake University student channel during Letras En La Frontera, I was so nervous that I ended up saying “I have no identity” lol. What I was trying to say is that by living in between two cultures and two countries I, as many others poets in United States, have an identity conflict that we tried to heal through poetry. Shout-out to Alfredo Avalos and Santiago Daydi-Tolson for putting together this amazing anual literary festival!
